How I can help

  • I am honored to walk alongside your self-exploration, and bear witness to your inherent capacity to heal. My therapeutic approach is built on creating a relationship with you that is shaped by safety and trust.

When we’ve had difficult or painful experiences, the past and present can become increasingly harder to tell apart. There might be parts of yourself that you struggle to embrace and understand, and you might have a sense that there are experiences from your childhood that would benefit from deeper exploration and healing. We now know that the imprints of these past experiences is both psychological and somatic - in that it lives on in our minds and bodies. Years afterward, your body might continue to respond as if the threat is still here today.

I can support you to make sense of all that is happening for you, so we can find ways to recognize the impact that your past continues to have on your life today, as well as practice new ways of being that promote healing and recovery. Self-compassion does not come easy for most of us - but together, we can find ways for you to nurture and nourish yourself, as you come into wholeness with yourself and everyone else in your life.

After the initial consultation, we will meet for an intake session to get a sense of what your needs are, and how I might be able to support you. From there, we will meet weekly for the first few months.

  • We are shaped by and embody the social conditions we were raised in. As a parent or soon-to-be parent, you may be encountering parts of yourself that surprise you. These aspects of ourselves can be our greatest teachers, leading us into a more expansive and authentic relationship with ourselves and our loved ones.

In my work with partnerships, we will explore how each of your unique life circumstances, beliefs, patterns, and woundings show up in the present within the context of your relationship. I aim to hold space that will allow you to imagine what you want to create within your family system, appreciating what each of you brings to this union, and how you can expand your connection with each other.

I primarily use attachment-based, somatic, and emotion-focused therapies in my work with partners, and can offer you tools to heal individually, and together. We will unpack your familial and psychic inheritances, and work to transform them into what you want, value, and envision for yourself and your family.

After the initial consultation, we will meet as a triad for an intake session to get a sense of what your needs are, and how I might be able to support you.
